“I am the Lord, the god of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
Jeremiah 32:27 (NIV)

Are you facing someth

ing that seems impossible for you to handle today? Do you feel like you’re riding the merry-go-round of life without really going anywhere? If so I invite you to read on, for I have been in both situations.
At first, all the problems in my life were really overwhelming me. I believed there was very little hope for me, a blind person who longed to dedicate himself to ministry. I remember sitting in call centers making sales calls, while mentally asking myself one question after another. Had I gone through school for nothing?” Was God really calling me? Had I made a mistake by choosing chaplaincy as a career?

Then after several years, it happened. In His time and not mine, God started putting all of the pieces of my life’s puzzle together. I’ve found that doing things in God’s time was a major factor. I finally learned this after trying to do things on my own, which had ended in disaster.

I believe that God can also help you to get through the problems in your life, but only if you trust Him and allow Him to resolve everything in His own time. While none of us like to wait, I would encourage you to hold on and trust Him. Ask God to help you give all of your situations to Him.

Remember the blind man who went to Jesus? He told the Lord that he believed in Him, but asked Him to help take away his doubt. That is the way we have to go through life, always asking God to help us to believe in Him and trust in His plan more strongly.

So here’s the question for you today, my friend: Who are you trusting to help you live your life? Are you putting your faith in a God who can move the mountains that He created? Or are you trusting in your own limited abilities? I would challenge you to let God have full control of your life, and let Him handle anything you may not be sure about. When you rest in Him, you will be surprised by the outcome. It may not be what you had in mind, but His ways are always far superior to ours, because He can see the big picture, which is invisible to us. So commit your life to Him today, and let Him worry about tomorrow.
